Stuart Creek showing watermark of the 2m flood that went through the previous day (April 2000). Stuart and Margaret Creeks added about 600mm to LES after 4 inches of rain fell. The creek was full of tiny fish trying unsuccessfully to swim up the causeway pipes. Causeways such as this one are interfering with the local ecology. |
